Coverage Needed:
- January 2025 - ongoing
- Monday to Friday: 7A-6PM, 11-10PM, 8PM- 7AM
- Saturday/Sunday: 7AM-7PM, 7PM-7AM
Clinical Information:
- Number of beds: 180, 28 Bed ER
- Census: 130
- Daily admissions: 40
- Patient population: Mixed but more Adults, Cardiac Strokes, less Pediatrics/Ob/ gyn
- Types of cases/Acuity: High, Cardiac, Neuro cases , Orthopedics
- Support staff: APP Support (Mon -Sun: 9AM-9PM, 1PM-1AM), Paramedics , phlebotomy sepsis team , stroke team, Respiratory therapist, IR team, Neuro Surgery, Cardiovascular CT surgery, Neurology, Gen surgery, GI, Vascular surgery, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Cardiology STEMI
- How follow up cases will be handled: Sign out or Admit
- Comprehensive Stroke Center
- Teleneuro Robot for Strokes
Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
- Active FL License
- Required Procedures: EM Core Procedures and moderate sedation
