Emergency Medicine Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $266.75 - $288.75
This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details & requirements for this opportunity:
- Annual volume: 26,000
- Physician shift times: 12-hour shifts (7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.); must be open to days, nights, and weekends
- NP/PA Coverage: Yes; APPs typically work alongside 1–2 EM physicians per shift
- Back up specialties available: Patients requiring admission are transferred to HCA Brandon Hospital with full specialist support
- EMR: Meditech P-doc with M-Modal dictation
- Certifications required: Board Certified (ABEM only), ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS; must have active Florida license and DEA
- Credentialing timeframe: 45 days
