Emergency Medicine Locums Position in Grundy, VA - $300 per hour

Join our team in Grundy, VA, for a rewarding full-time locums position in Emergency Medicine! The hospital is seeking an experienced provider to cover their ED, with ongoing needs starting in January to allow for credentialing. Specific dates are to be determined.

Position Details:

Start Date: TBD - Ongoing

Coverage Needed: Full time

Shift Times: 8 AM - 8 PM

Submission Requirements: ***Must meet ALL Submission Requirements in order to submit to client.***

• Board Certified/ Board Eligible -REQUIRED highly prefer BC
• Must have minimum 2 years recent experience in EM - REQUIRED
• Malpractice must be included in rates - REQUIRED, no exceptions
• VA License ONLY - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccination- REQUIRED
• Active BLS/ACLS - REQUIRED
• If not EM board certified - will need ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS
• Clean background, no malpractice - REQUIRED, no exceptions!

Practice Overview:

• Annual Volume: 10,000+
• Number of Beds: 9 + 4 Fast Track Bays
• Scribes: Not available
• ED Responsibilities: Respond to floor codes as backup to hospitalist
• EMR: CPSI
• Duties: Routine ER duties
