Job Summary:

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER Bulverde in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency-trained
  • Strong communication skills
  • Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Incentives & Position Details:
  • 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
  • Avg 18-22 patients per 24 hrs. with anticipated rapid growth with staff support to grow as patient volumes grow.
  • Shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a, 24 hours of physician coverage

Methodist Hospital Stone Oak Bulverde Emergency Room and Methodist Healthcare System:
  • 12 exam rooms
  • State-of-the-art ER is staffed with board-certified emergency room physicians and nurses providing care for adults and children 24-hours a day, 365 days a year
  • Fully trained team to handle a variety of adult and pediatric conditions including heart attack, cardiac & respiratory arrest, cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, trauma, seizures, pulmonary condition
  • Once stabilized, patients may be transported to a Methodist Healthcare facility in San Antonio, if necessary
  • Methodist Healthcare System is the largest provider of health care in South and Central Texas with 28 facilities, including nine acute care hospitals serving over 94,000 inpatients and 500,000 outpatients annually
