Shift Details:

• Shift Length: 12-hour day or 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: 10-20 shifts per month

Work Details:

• Support Staff: 2 MDs available for 24-hour coverage
• Coverage Needed: 25-30 shifts per month
• Patient Volume: Approximately 71 patients per day (26,000 per year)
• Patient Population/Age: All ages
• EMR System: Cerner
• Hospital Bed Size: 366 beds
• Special Procedures: Level 3 Trauma
• Skills Required: Experience in handling a high volume of emergency cases, familiarity with Cerner EMR, and capability to manage Level 3 Trauma.

Practice Setting:

• Location: Hospital setting

Requirements:

• Board Certification: ABEM, IN, or FM
• Iowa License Required
• DEA Certification
• CSR Certification
• Certifications Preferred: PALS
• Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS
• Minimum Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
