Landmark Emergency Medicine Physician

Physician Practice Enhancement is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician for a hospital in Woonsocket, RI

Landmark is a 214-bed, acute care hospital, and a member of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)(3) public charity. We provide emergency, diagnostic, medical, surgical, cancer, cardiac, pain management, and obstetric care.

The ideal candidate will provide immediate medical care to patients in an emergency setting, demonstrating expertise in various medical specialties and delivering high-quality patient care.

We are looking for experienced full time or part time Emergency Medicine Physicians

We have a Full Time Nocturnist position available as well as a Part Time Day Physician which would be 10 shifts

12 hour shifts. – Day Position, Rotating Day and Night or Nocturnist

Shifts - Night 7a-7p and 7p-7a

Current Rhode Island Medical License preferred.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients in the emergency department
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide timely interventions
- Perform medical procedures as necessary
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Stay current with advancements in emergency medicine practices

Qualifications

Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Post-residency experience in an emergency department setting
- Proficiency in medical terminology and imaging interpretation
- Ability to phlebotomize and perform minor surgical procedures
- Experience in primary care, Ob/Gyn, Gastroenterology, Geriatrics, PTSD Care is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
