- EST length of assignment: Unknown
- Providers needed (#FT or #PT - # of shifts to cover) Equivalent to 5 FTEs for now
- Minimum # of shifts acceptable: 4
- Parma will accept ABEM, AOBEM, ABIM, ABFM for Emergency Medicine but there is life support restrictions described below
- ABPS is not accepted
- Must have successful completion of ACGME or AOA accredited residency in EM, FM or IM
- ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BALS Required - even board-certified clinicians need to have life support certs sponsored by the AHA
- EM Boarded/Eligible: Must have ATLS & ACLS once only and PALS current
- FM/IM Boarded or Eligible: Must have current ATLS, ACLS and PALS. They are also required to maintain moderate sedation privileges
- All clinicians need to have NIHSS no older than 2 years
- Staffing model MDDO: 4 physician shifts daily
- Staffing model NPPA: 3 APP shifts daily
- Physician shift times: 7a to 4p, 11a to 9, 3p to 1a and 9p to 7a
- NPPA shift times: 6a to 5p, 10a to 10 p (M-W) 10a to 8p (Thu-Sun) 5p to 4a
- Annual volume: 37,000
- Patients per day: 101
- % EMS: 35
- % Admitted patients: 30
- Trauma level designation III
- No scribe coverage
- APP Supervision required
- ED beds & fast track beds: 39
- Hospital beds: 278
- Special services: 24/7 in-house intensivist
- 24/7 in-house hospitalist
- 24/7 in-house trauma
- Mid-level provider responding to trauma activations
- Internal Medicine Residency
- Second busiest Cath Lab in the system with excellent interventional cardiology support
- Open heart surgery program with Cardiac surgery on-call 24/7

- ONBOARDING REQUIREMENTS (Orientation/EMR training) Online EMR Training must be done prior to start/orientation
- Do not have to run codes on floor
- Vaccination requirements: TB (must be within the last 6 months), HepB titers (within the last 2 years), COVID vaccination
