Coverage Needed:
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Shift: 6a-6p, 6p-6a
- Cover main hospital and affiliated FSEDs
Clinical Information:
- Number of beds: 18
- Daily admissions: 10% admissions at FSEDs and 20% at main hospital
- Some facilities are Level IV trauma centers, All sites see high acuity
- Generally no follow up needed on cases, however feedback is provided as needed
- Must be efficient in central line placement, intubation, dislocation reductions, trauma, stemi, strokes, OB deliveries
- Support Staff: Each site has APP coverage, 9-24hrs APP coverage
- Average patient census: 80 at main hospital
- All Variety of Emergency Medicine Cases
Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
- At least 2 years of ED experience to work in FSEDs
- Required Procedures: Intubations, central line placement, Ultrasound utilization, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tube placement, trauma management, laceration repair
- Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
