UT Health East Texas is hiring a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our elite team at the region’s only Level 1 Trauma Center in Tyler, nestled in the picturesque Texas Pineywoods. As part of UT Health Tyler, one of 10 facilities within UT Health East Texas, you'll be at the forefront of emergency care in a facility that also serves as a Level II Primary Stroke Center and the hub for UT Health East Texas EMS and AIR 1.

Key Highlights:

  • Team Composition: 15 Emergency Medicine Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers.
  • Facility Details: 36 ED beds, including three exam rooms, currently staffed at 24 (12 holding beds).
  • EMR: Epic.

    Schedule: Flexible 12-hour shifts, totaling 12 shifts per month.
