Due to a new provider not starting, the department has several open shifts in August, and the need will likely continue. There are specific dates that need to be covered:
August 20: Daytime orientation
August 21, 23, 25: All 24-hour shifts starting at 7 AM
Open shifts for September and beyond, with the possibility to cross privileges at other locations in the system as well.
Combined ED/UC single coverage
The ED provider would be responsible for the transfer if the patient was not admitted. The sign-out at 7 AM occurs with the tele-doc.
