Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a Maximus company, is a government contractor helping our nation Veterans. They're seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams + Separation Health Assessments across the country.
Locations Available- Please note at time of name clear:

VES Facility
- Traverse City- 1 day per week needed
VES office locations:
Provider’s own office locations- Provider must have their own office
- Brimley- 10 days per week needed (multiple openings)
- Atlanta- 1 day per week needed
- Alma- 2 days per week needed
- Saginaw- 2 days per week needed
- Marquette- 1 day per week needed
- Wakefield- 1.5 days per week needed
- Sturgis- 4 days per week needed
- Lansing- 4 days per week needed
- Lewiston- 2 days per week needed
- Norway, 2 days per week needed
- Rogers City- 4 days per week needed
- Alpena- 4 days per week needed
- Sault S Marie- 4 days per week needed
- West Branch - 2 days a week needed
- Manistique - 1 day a week needed
- Ludington - 1 day a week needed
- Gaylord - 2 days a week needed
- Bad Axe - 1 day a week needed
- Presque Isle - 1 day a week needed
- Harrisville - day a week needed
- Need is on a PRN basis, ongoing
- Willing to accept these specialties: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, etc, or anyone with a background in general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension.
- Two (2) options for coverage - Travel and perform exams at VES leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice
- Option to work ½ days(4-hours) and/or full days(8-hours)
- One-Time non-treatment C&P exams + separation health assessments
- Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing.
- No prescribing, no treatment
- Quick credentialing & onboarding
- DMA certification available (can get CME credits) – will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
- Use of Goniometer required
- Familiar with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio required
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
- Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
- Training shall be provided for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
- Reporting/DBQs must be submitted within 48 hours upon exam completion - no narrative report. End product is completion of standardized form(s).
- Evaluations to be completed in VES's provider portal
- Record review is required in most cases
- Follow up administrative work will be required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics)
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions
- Own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products)
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 0-3 years of residency
- Active and unrestricted full license
- Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified
- CV needs current home address listed for presentation
- Will need a copy of ECFMG certificate if they attended school in a different country.
