RxLOCUMS is recruiting for a EM physician to provide locum coverage in North Arkansas. Coverage is needed beginning in September to ongoing.

Details Include:
  • BC/BE
  • Licensed in AR
  • EMR System: Epic
  • No surgery, usual ED procedures, intubation, chest tube, conscious sedation, laceration
  • This is a Critical Access Rural Hospital and will see many of the same things as larger hospitals except less volumes
  • Central line placement, suturing, I&D, dental blocks, foreign body removal, reductions, cardio conversation, codes, Stroke and STEMI, pediatrics and adults
  • We do not have any call for our ED physicians. They do not round anywhere other than on their ED patients in the ED department
  • Our current open shifts vary, both days and nights and several dates every month starting in September
  • Competitive Hourly rates
  • RxLOCUMS covers malpractice insurance, travel and accommodations while on assignment
