Position: Full-Time Emergency Medicine Medical Director

Overview:

Inhospital Physicians Group is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated full-time Medical Director for the Emergency Medicine program in Sharon, PA. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician to lead a dynamic team and enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:

    • Provide clinical and administrative leadership to the Emergency Medicine department.
    • Oversee the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.
    • Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
    • Mentor and support emergency medicine staff, including physicians, nurses, and APPs.
  • Clinical:

    • Deliver high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Department.
    • Work 12-hour shifts alongside the emergency medicine team.
    • Maintain a clinical schedule to ensure adequate coverage and support.
    • Collaborate with hospital administration and other departments to optimize patient care.
  • Administrative:

    • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
    • Participate in hospital-wide committees and initiatives.
    • Coordinate with hospital administration on strategic planning and program development.
    • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
  • Completion of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in an emergency medicine setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement.
