TeamHealth has an excellent full-time opportunity for a physician leader to join our emergency department (ED) team at Glendale Memorial Hospital located in the highly desirable area of Los Angeles County.

In this role the facility medical director will provide clinical and administrative leadership for EM services, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, prior leadership experience, collaborate with TeamHealth and hospital leadership, and maintain a clinical practice and provide direct patient care in the emergency dept. In addition, the qualified candidate will be ABEM/ABOEM certified.

The Glendale ED is a state-of-the-art LA County Stroke Receiving center and sees a volume of 36,500 and 11% admission rate. EMR is Cerner and physicians see average 2.1 patients per hour with daily advanced practice clinician (APC) coverage.

Competitive hourly rate with an estimated base pay range for independent contractors with a minimum $218/hour to maximum of $251/hour plus a monthly director stipend and quarterly performance bonus.
