TeamHealth is seeking an experienced and dynamic physician leader to join our high-performing emergency department (ED) team as the facility medical director (FMD) at Glendale Memorial Hospital, located in the highly desirable Los Angeles County.

- Deliver high-quality clinical care and provide direct patient care in the ED
- Lead, mentor, and manage a highly skilled team of emergency physicians
- Foster collaboration among TeamHealth and hospital leadership teams
- Oversee departmental operations and ensure compliance with clinical and administrative standards
- Champion communication, team building, and continuous quality improvement
- Board-certified in emergency medicine (ABEM/ABOEM)
- Proven leadership experience in an emergency department setting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Patient volume: 36,500 visits with an 11% admission rate

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate: $223/hour - $243/hour for independent contractors
