Coverage Needed:

  • As soon as credentialed - ongoing
  • Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
  • Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
  • Shift times: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 7p-5a, 9p-7a

Clinical Information:

  • Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
  • All standard ER procedures
  • Level II trauma Center
  • Only transfer plastics/hand (some coverage), neuro IR, Peds
  • Average patient census: 170
  • Common cases: Trauma (mainly blunt), mix of all types of patients
  • Annual ER admissions: 24%
  • Neurology, Psychiatric

Required:

  • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
  • Current Flu Vaccine
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
    • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
  • Board Certified in one of the following:
    • American Board of Emergency Medicine
    • American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
  • Active MO License
  • ATLS (one time in career), ACLS, PALS
  • Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
