Coverage Needed:
- ASAP - Ongoing
- Must be flexible to work days, nights and weekends
- Main hospital campus may consider less than 12hr shifts, affiliated FSED's require 12hr shifts
- Shift times: 6a-4p, 9a-7p, 12p-10p, 3p-1a, 7p-5a, 9p-7a
Clinical Information:
- Preference is for locum providers to be open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's
- All standard ER procedures
- Level II trauma Center
- Only transfer plastics/hand (some coverage), neuro IR, Peds
- Average patient census: 170
- Common cases: Trauma (mainly blunt), mix of all types of patients
- Annual ER admissions: 24%
- Neurology, Psychiatric
Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified in one of the following:
- American Board of Emergency Medicine
- American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine
- Active MO License
- ATLS (one time in career), ACLS, PALS
- Providers living inside of 50 miles from the facility will be considered “Local”, and will not be eligible for this role
