Locums – Spokane, Washington, Emergency Medicine Opening (Willing to License)
- Clinical Role:

- Start 8/26/24
- Flexible but prefer someone that can consistently cover for long term if it's a good fit (10 shifts per month (1-2 weeks minimum of availability)
- Day & Night needed; most shifts are 8-9hrs.
- Flexible on 9- and 10-hour shifts, start time, No mornings, mostly 10am-7pm or 10am-8pm, or 2/4pm till midnight. If overnights start at 9/10pm
- Providers typically float between 3 locations (2 hospitals, 1 free standing ED) but if provider only wants to work a 1 that's an option. Open to providers that want to work 12s, they could exclusively work at free standing ED.
- APP's number varies on location & shift time
- # of patients per day: Varies by location
- Patient Age Group: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Hospital One: 105 (1.5-2 patients per hour
- Hospital Two: 135 (1.8-2.2 patients per hour)
- Free Standing ED: & 90/day (2-3 patients per hour) lower acuity not a ton of admissions (9-12hr shifts single coverage
- Hospital bed size: 388
- Credentialing timeline: 90-120 days can get locum privs in 60 days, must have active license to receive active privileges. Will need to supply case logs. Apps completed within 10 days or 7 business days of receiving application
- Travel: Yes
- Willing to License- Y just need license in hand prior to starting work (12-week turnaround time for Licensure)
- Schedule- Minimum of 10 shifts per month
- Facility looking to cover 40 shifts a month
- Additional job specifics: Current coverage they are getting is too sporadic, so current workers are in need of more consistent coverage from providers -Inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic imaging, medical, surgical and emergency services. Level 3 Trauma Center, certified chest pain center, cert. joint restoration center, primary stroke center accredited. Maternal-fetal medicine program and level 3 Neonatal intensive care unit
- Board Certified – Emergency Medicine
- ABEM or AOBEM Physicians needed
- Need to hold State license & ABEM cert. at time of starting locums shifts
- DEA- Yes
- CSR- No
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS - Yes NRP Cert nice to have for one of locations
- EMR: Epic – Preferred
