Job Description:

Locums Emergency Medicine in Springfield, MO where Outpatient Coverage with call is needed. Here are some of the details:

Start Date: September 23, 2024-Ongoing

Coverage Need/Schedule Details: Needing full time support, ideally able to provide coverage up to 20 shifts per month ongoing.

Shift times: 8 hour shifts- Shift times vary

• 5a, 7a, 8a, 9a, 10a, 1p, 2p, 3p, 4p, 5p, 8p, 9p, 11p, and 11:59p.

Submission Requirements: ***Must meet ALL Submission Requirements in order to submit!***

• Board Certified -REQUIRED
• Must have attended an ED residency program and set for either ABEM or AOBEM boards: REQUIRED
• MO License - REQUIRED
• ACLS, ATLS, BLS - REQUIRED
• Physician will supervise APP’s-REQUIRED

Practice Description:

• Patients per shift-15
• Number of beds-65
• Level 1 Trauma Center with 95,000+ annual ED visits
• 70-bed ED
• 11-bed pediatric ED unit
• Physician will do admissions
• Duties: Routine ER Duties
• EMR: Epic
• APP support staff in Triage
• full array of specialty backup with 24hr MRI/CT availability
• 24 Hour STEMI team, Stroke Team, ED psychiatric service
• We can not accept Family Med board certified physicians who either did a fellowship in ED or have ED experience. It’s due to our Level 1 Trauma certifications
