Are you a solid emergency medicine physician looking to work in a fast-paced, busy community hospital? Piedmont Eastside offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes and community health.

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center in collaboration with TeamHealth is seeking the following type of emergency medicine (EM) clinicians for their core ED team:
  • Ability to manage acute medical, surgical conditions, trauma care and a variety of emergencies across all age groups
  • Ability to multi-task with a high-volume patient population with diverse medical needs
  • Ability to work collaborate closely with nurses, paramedics, specialists and leadership team
  • Ability to remain current with advances in emergency medicine through CME
  • Being adaptable and handle the unexpected in a thriving environment
  • Ability to work with families on patient treatment plans with sensitivity and clear concise explanations
About the ED:
  • ED volume of 50k+
  • 54 hours of MD coverage and 24 hours of APC coverage daily
  • 38-bed ED
  • Admission rate of 20%
  • Epic EMR
  • Highly experienced nursing and leadership team
  • Hospital medicine program serviced by TeamHealth
