Order Description:
- Type: LOCUM or LOCUM TO PERM
- Position: MD/DO
- Annual volume:
- Clinic: average of 16 patients per day per provider
- ER: average 11 patients per day
- OB: 35-40 deliveries per year total
- Any second coverage:
- Clinic second coverage = there is always a physician on staff for APP oversight
- ER second coverage = the provider can call in for help if needed- which is usually the doc on OB call
- Trauma Level: IV- nearest level I is 3 hours away drive-time
- Shift options:
- Clinic Only: Four 10-hour shifts per week. Generally, start at 8am but we also do early and late clinic on a rotating schedule.
- Clinic + ER: Two 10-hour clinic shifts and one 24-hour ER shift
- Clinic + Hospitalist: Four 10-hour clinic shifts but rounding on patients in the morning and seeing clinic patients when done.
- OB/C-section call is 24/7 and rotates between the OB physicians. If the physician on call doesn't do C-sections, then other physicians may be scheduled as a "back-up" to that provider.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification

- Procedures logs needed or past amount of experience required and in what timeframe: ER experience/training, OB/C-Section experience/training
