Position: Locum MD/DO - Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries in the emergency department.
Perform initial assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop and implement treatment plans.
Stabilize patients and manage acute medical conditions using evidence-based practices and protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including nurses, technicians, and specialists, to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing compassionate care and education about their conditions and treatment options.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
Valid Kansas medical license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medicine preferred.
Proficiency in emergency medical procedures and protocols.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
