Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physicians

Location: Multiple locations in Spokane

Shifts: 8-10 shifts per month, with flexibility in shift lengths:

• Shift Lengths: 8/10/12 hours
• Shift Times: Start at 6:00 AM / 10:00 AM / 4:00 PM

Employment Type: Locums

Number of Locations: 3

Patient Load:

• 1.5-2 patients per hour

Trauma Designation: Level 3

Admission Rates:

• Location 1: 18%
• Location 2: 15%
• Admit orders are handled by Hospitalist Medicine (HM) providers

EMR: EPIC

Job Description:

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage across three locations
• Flexible shifts to accommodate various scheduling needs
• Address urgent coverage requirements during night shifts
• Manage patient load efficiently, with 1.5-2 patients per hour
• Work with EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of hospitalist services
• Maintain licensure and certification requirements

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Valid state medical license
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment
