We are working with Providence Mount Carmel Hospital. They are seeking on going ED coverage starting in August. Transfer Facility: Sacred Heart Medical Center, Spokane, WA (72 miles south, Trauma Level II)
Dates Needed:
• August 20-24: 7 PM - 7 AM
• August 23-25: 7 AM - 7 PM
• September 4-6: 7 PM - 7 AM
• September 14-15: 7 AM - 7 PM
ER:
• Shifts: Looking for someone to work 2-3 shifts per month
• Patient Load: 15-20 patients per day, 7-10 patients per evening
• Qualifications: Family Medicine (FM) and Internal Medicine (IM) trained physicians accepted; new grads who are boarded welcome
• Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• EMR: EPIC
Responsibilities:
• Supervise other healthcare providers, including Family Medicine Residents in the ER
• Hold orders handled by ED physician
• Hospitalist handles admissions
• ED staff responds to house codes
Support Staff:
• 1-3 RNs depending on the time of day
• 1 CNA tech
• 1 ER tech

Emergency privileges are available for providers with an active license and a clean file in 48+ hours.
