Emergency Medicine trained provider with Medical Director and air services is needed in a Ohio metro. The program, in operation since 1983, operates four helicopter and five mobile intensive care units and is a CAMTS accredited program. The program provides critical transport within a 150-mile radius of Dayton Ohio, including patients of all ages.
Oversee the clinical care provided by the air and ground medical teams. Oversee and participate in the clinical education of the team members. Develop and maintain medical treatment protocols the program. Provide initial and ongoing education for medical control physicians . Oversee/develop/participate in the quality improvement activities related to clinical care . Actively participate in outreach activities with EMS/referring hospitals utilizing transport service. Participate in safety activities within the program. Assist with budget development. Participates nationally with Association of Air Medical Services, and Air Medical Physician Association, and at the state level on the Ohio association of critical care transport. . Medical directorship is 22 hours/week dedicated to program. . Actively involved in the clinical care of Emergency patients.
