Are you an experienced physician with a background in Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care? Out client has an exciting and flexible role for you at a prestigious PEDS Urgent Care in Newark, Delaware! Their mission is twofold: to provide exceptional care for children, and to provide an exceptional work environment for our faculty and staff.

  • New (2022) 14-bed unit in large, community nonprofit.
  • Combined PEM and General Pediatricians in EM (“GPEM”) model.
  • Dedicated swing/nocturnists thus minimal overnight coverage.
  • Resident education: EM, Med-Peds, EM/IM, EM/FM, FM.
  • Academic affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
  • Robust Behavioral Health (BH) support: dedicated Peds BH Social Worker, off hours BH consults within 1 hour, and admitted BH patients covered by Pediatric Hospitalist team.
  • All imaging modalities, including POCUS.
  • In-house and external sub-specialty consults readily available.
  • EMR (Cerner).

Active/Unrestricted DE MD/DO License
Active DEA
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Med-Peds, EM/FM, FM, or EM/IM
BLS and PALS certifications
Updated CV with mm/yyyy format
Clean malpractice/background history

Working Hours

All shifts needed! Day & Night & Swing
Shifts: 8-4, 3-12, 11-8
