Job Summary:

Rio Grande Regional Hospital is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our Freestanding Emergency Room in Mission, Texas.

Qualified Candidates:
  • BE/BC in EM, or FM/IM with experience

Incentives/Benefits:
  • 11,000 annual volume
  • 24 hours of physician coverage
  • Up to 120 hours per month available
  • APP coverage to support daily patient surge

About Rio Grande Regional Hospital Mission FSED:
  • Brand new 10,840sq ft facility
  • 12-bed ED – 6 exam rooms plus isolation room, bariatric room, pelvic exam room, trauma room, triage room and behavioral health room
  • 24 hours of physician coverage, 12 hour shifts
  • Anticipated annual patient volume of 7K-11K
  • EMR: Meditech
  • Affiliation with Rio Grande Regional Hospital makes direct admission when necessary to the hospital simple and seamless
  • Blood Work processed on the on-site lab
  • CT scan, ultrasound, and X-rays completed on site
