Clinical Role:

- Duration: 3 Months
- Shift times: 7a-7p, 7p-7a
- 13,800 annual volume
- 9 ED beds
- 24 hours of physician coverage
- EMR: MediTech
- Trauma transfers to other hospitals
- Up to 120 hours available
- Strong communication skills
- Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
- The emergency services team is fully trained team and equipped to handle a variety of adult and pediatric conditions.
- Radiology, full-service laboratory, and telemetry
- Specific on-site diagnostic equipment will include: 64-slice CT scanner, dedicated x-ray suite, ultrasound and telemetry equipment
- Immediate intervention for serious emergencies where treatment time is critical with quick transfer capabilities to any facility
- 24-hour monitoring and testing of patients, such as chest pain cases
- Use of a Picture Archiving Communications System (PACS) to allow staff to electronically transmit any diagnostic image from the ER to any physician’s office, specialist or any hospital emergency room for seamless follow-up
- Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
