Overview: We are actively seeking a highly qualified Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the picturesque North Country region of NYS. This position offers a unique opportunity to assume a leadership role within our low-volume rural community hospital. With an annual volume of 18,000 patients, this position provides an ideal balance between professional fulfillment and a relaxed pace of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring quality patient care and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to ensure comprehensive coverage from 7 am to 7 pm.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Serve as a mentor and leader to medical staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Valid NYS medical license.
• Strong clinical skills and experience in emergency medicine.
• Leadership skills preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
