A hospital in the Pittsburgh area is in need of 2-3 locums physicians to provide a few shifts each month. They need a total of 14 shifts/month spread between all the physicians. Details:
  • Location: in Pittsburgh, PA
  • Setting: Emergency Dept
    • 31,025 annual volume (85 pts/day)
    • 4 physician shift and 2 APP shifts daily (single coverage from 2a-8a, 2-4 provider coverage all other times)
    • Consult services: pulm/crit care, ortho, gen surg, infectious disease, neuro, tele-stroke, vascular surgery
  • Start: ASAP (temp and emergency privileges available, can start in 30 days)
  • Length: 6 months
  • Minimum 5 shifts/month
  • Schedule: 11a-9p, 2p-10p, 2p-11p, 6p-2a, 9p-6a (8-10 hr shifts)
Required:
  • Board certified/board eligible emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine
  • 5 years of ER experience
  • Active PA license
Compensation:
  • 1099 contract –paid weekly – pay negotiable
  • 100% of malpractice insurance covered
  • Local candidates preferred – but travel can be included if needed
