  • Join our close-knit team of nine physicians and two advanced practice providers at WTH – Dyersburg Hospital, with support from a clinical performance nurse.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in emergency or family medicine with emergency medicine experience.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases, including critical interventions such as intubations, central lines, and trauma care.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • 36 hours of physician coverage complemented by 12 hours of APP coverage.
  • Access to a broad range of specialized services, including cardiology, pulmonology, general surgery, urology, GI pediatrics, OB, radiology, anesthesiology, nephrology, and endocrinology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a 16-bed emergency department, seeing approximately 75 patients per day.
  • Care for patients in critical conditions, from motor vehicle collisions to violent crimes, with a focus on chest tube placements, intubations, and trauma care.
