Emergency Medicine Position in Des Moines, Iowa H1B Cap Exempt Details:

  • Full-time Emergency Medicine opportunity serving the central Iowa region
  • July 2024 new EM residency will launch. ACGME accreditation already approved. 6 residents per year. 3 year program.
  • Established team of experienced physicians and Advanced Practitioners
  • Advanced scheduling to accommodate work/life balance
  • Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
Responsibilities: 130 hours per month/13-16 shifts Shift duration varies by location: 12 hours, 9 hours & 8 hours Explicit interest in educating EM residents Expectation to be involved with non-clinical activities: education, scholarly activity and other non-clinical activities which advance departmental and organization goals.
