Job Title: Contract Emergency Medicine Physician (1099 Independent Contractor)
Department: Emergency Department
Reports To: Emergency Department Director

Compensation: $285/Hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a hospital setting. You will work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team to assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute medical conditions. Additionally, you will educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a hospital environment.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute medical conditions.
  • Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment decisions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in emergency medicine.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine/Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in emergency medicine.
  • Strong clinical acumen and sound judgment in medical decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
