Locums – North Carolina Emergency Medicine Job (20 Miles from Hickory)

  • Expedited credentialing available
  • Must be able to work 6+ shifts a month in order to be considered
  • 12+ locum shifts available every month
  • Annual volume: 28k
  • Mostly adult patients
  • Higher acuity with a 15% admit rate
  • 7a-7p, 7p-7a
  • Work alongside NPs/PAs, as well – 24 hours of APP coverage a day
  • Currently not a trauma facility – moving towards a Level 3 designation
  • Must have ATLS
  • Must be able to do FAST Scans since the site is working towards their trauma designation
  • Dragon available
  • Credentialing takes 90-120 days
  • EMR: EPIC
