SMART is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum coverage in Texas City, TX. This coverage is needed beginning as soon as credentialed.

Details Include:

• Qualifications: BC Emergency Medicine w/active TX license and DEA
  
• Must have clean background with no malpractice.
• Shift times: 7a - 7p w/some night call
• 35k - 40k avg. annual volumes
• 2-2.25 patients per hour
• 214 Beds, 22 rooms
• Trauma Designation Level III trauma center
• Primary Stroke Center
• 24 hours of Intensivist and Hospitalist coverage
• Dedicated Women's Center with dedicated L&D ED
• Back Up Specialties: Surgery, Ortho, OBGYN, Cardiac, Intensivist, Neurology
• Paid malpractice, travel and accommodations
