SMART is seeking an emergency medicine physician for locum coverage in McAllen, TX. This coverage is needed beginning as soon as credentialed.

Details Include:

• BC ABEM/AOBEM, or will accept BC ABIM and ABFM w/2 years documented recent EM experience
• Must have active TX license and DEA
• Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
• ED Annual Volume: 13,000
• ED, Fast Track & ICU Bed Size: 10
• Admission Rate: 15%
• No Open or Closed ICU
• MediTech EMR Charting
• Daily Patient Load per Clinician: 1.5-2/hour
• ED Patients per Hour: 1-2
  
• Paid malpractice, travel and accommodations
