**Emergency Medicine opening in Fort Dodge, IA**
- 1 hour from Des Moines
**Job Description:**
- Current providers: 4 Physicians and 5 APPs
- Competitive compensation and benefits package

- Onsite services (CT, MRI, x-ray, lab, etc.)
- Level 4 Trauma Center
- Life Flight 24/7
- Cardiac Cath Services 24/7
- Hospitalist Program 24/7
- Hospital Duties include responding to in-house cardiac/respiratory arrests, including peds and OB/nursery
- No Call
- Flexible Scheduling
- Fully integrated system with clinics and Hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- New fully equipped Emergency Department
**Responsibilities:*
- Twelve 12 hour shifts per month
- Clinical Shift Hours = 7:30a 7:30p, 7:30p 7:30a
- Department Staffing Model:
- Tuesday - Friday = 1 Physician & 1 APP (11:30a - 9:30p)
- Saturday - Monday = 1 Physician & 2 APP's (10a - 8p & 2p - 12a)
- Average # of patients/day = 60
- Annual visit volume = 20,000
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Improve the health of the people and communities we serve
**Qualifications:**
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (must become board certified within 5 years)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Hold a current and unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Ability to work as a team member and leader

Clinic has a base of primary care physicians in family practice, internal medicine and pediatrics.
