Job Responsibilities

Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center is actively recruiting an experienced Dermatologist.This physician will be assigned to our Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO. As a staff Dermatologist, you will diagnose and treat diseases and conditions of the skin, hair, nails, and mucus membranes. This is a general dermatology practice and has flexibility, depending on the candidate’s interests, experience, and track record. We provide comprehensive dermatologic services including general dermatologic surgery, general dermatology, teledermatology, phototherapy, dermatopathology, allergic contact dermatitis, psoriasis, wound/ tissue repair, some laser procedures, and research time (if grant-supported). As an active affiliate site of the University of Colorado School of Medicine and its training programs, the position provides an outstanding opportunity for individuals committed to an academic career in clinical care, teaching, and research. You will be involved with educating and teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and other providers and so must qualify for an academic appointment at our affiliated university, University of Colorado (CU), Denver.

Qualifications

Preferred Experience: Board Eligible/Certified in Dermatology, evidence of academic experience, and VA experience a plus

Working Hours

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/wk; Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of the dermatology consultation service in rotation with other staff.
