The VA Healthcare system in Aurora, Co., is seeking an experienced board-certified Chief of Dermatology. This is an amazing opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of our veterans.

Position Highlights:

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
• Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of the dermatology consultation service in rotation with other staff Dermatologists

Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to:

• As the Chief of Dermatology, you will oversee the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the skin, hair, nails, and mucus membranes
• We provide comprehensive dermatologic services including general dermatologic surgery, general dermatology, teledermatology, phototherapy, dermatopathology, allergic contact dermatitis, psoriasis, wound/ tissue repair, some laser procedures, and research time (if grant supported).
• This opportunity has a combination of clinical, administrative, educational, and research roles. Administratively, you will report to the Chief of Medicine and will serve as the primary supervisor of the Dermatology Section. Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or DO Degree
• Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
