Position:
We are seeking a board-certified medical dermatologist for a part-time locum tenens role. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality general dermatology care, including both medical and minor surgical procedures. Our practice treats a wide range of dermatologic conditions with a focus on noninvasive solutions, catering to adolescents through geriatrics.
Schedule:
- Part-time: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
- Hours: 7:00 AM to approximately 1:00 PM (up to 20 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive dermatologic care, including full-body screenings for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Perform biopsies during initial screenings, minimizing the need for additional follow-ups
- Treat a variety of skin conditions, such as acne, dermatitis, and infectious skin diseases (bacterial, fungal, and viral)
- Conduct advanced procedures including cryotherapy, ED&C, wide excisions, and skin cancer surgery (e.g., basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, malignant melanoma)
- Offer cosmetic services such as Botox, fillers, and chemical peels
- Specialize in cyst removal, ear lobe repair, and treatment of skin disorders like actinic keratosis, seborrheic keratosis, and skin tags
- Utilize in-house laboratory services for workups and panels
- Work alongside a skilled team of professionals with no mid-level providers (no NPs or PAs on staff)
