Opportunity:
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient, Call, Rounding/Admitting (special props if the physician can do ION and other pulm procedures)
  • Dates of Coverage: mid September
  • Call Ratio: 1:4
  • Average Number of ICU Patients Per Day: 18, with support of NP
  • Average Number of Inpatient (non ICU) Patients per Physician per Day: 10, with support of NP
  • Average Number of Admissions per Physician per Day: 3-5
  • Trauma Level/Designation: 3
  • Total Number of Beds: staff 300 or less
  • Number of ICU Beds: 20
  • Number of Critical Care Physicians in Group: 3, with one hired for 2025
  • Will Other Critical Care Physicians be Present During our Locum's Coverage? No
  • Documentation System/EMR: Cerner
  • Practice Setting: Medical, Adult
  • Ventilation Management Procedures Required: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy),Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP)
  • Required Insertions: Central Line, Arterial Line
  • Diagnostic/Therapeutic Taps Required: Paracentesis, Thoracentesis
  • Procedures Required: Chest tube insertion, Bronchoscopy, Bronchoscopy w/ Bronchial alveolar lavage (BAL), Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues
  • Procedures Required: Pulmonary Function Testing, Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS), ION
  • Treatment and Management of: Asthma, Bronchiolitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Fibrosis, Pneumonia, Sarcoidosis, Pulmonary Vascular Disease, Pulmonary Nodules
  • Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
