Academic Critical Care Physician- Phoenix, Arizona. The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Banner University Medical Center - Phoenix (BUMC-P) and the University of Arizona College of Medicine- Phoenix (COM-P) invites applications to join our group of 22 faculty dedicated to outstanding patient care and training the next generation of physicians. The physician will perform patient care duties in the medical ICUs and will share division night shift obligations. Opportunities to attend in the clinic or on the consult services are available. Rotations on both the teaching and non-teaching services are required. The Division has a mature GME program with 15 pulmonary and critical care fellows and 2 sleep fellows. All physicians are required to hold a COM-P faculty title commensurate with academic experience. For highly qualified candidates, academic opportunities with clinical buy down are possible. Teaching and mentoring of medical students and residents is an expectation of faculty. The Division has subspecialty programs in pulmonary hypertension, interstitial lung disease, interventional pulmonology, COPD and asthma. BUMC-P is nationally recognized for providing exceptional patient care and is consistently ranked highly by U.S. News & World Report. The hospital boasts high volume liver and cardiac transplant programs, a mobile ECMO program and a robust clinical translational research portfolio.
Position Details:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine required
- Teaching duties required
- Inpatient ICU coverage
Requirements:
- Completion of Critical Care fellowship
- Experience Candidates Preferred but New Grads Welcome to Apply
- Publications or trial experience in area of interest
