Job Responsibilities
Conduct routine physical exams, manage chronic conditions, and address acute medical needs.
Collaborate with mental health professionals, nursing staff, and facility administrators to deliver coordinated care.
Ensure all medical care is compliant with correctional healthcare standards and policies.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, adhering to facility protocols and legal requirements.
Qualifications
Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or similar specialty.
Active medical license in the state of Maine or the ability to obtain one.
Experience in correctional or underserved settings is preferred, but not required.
Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
