Locum Cardiologist - AZ

Our client in Maricopa County, AZ is in need of a Locum Cardiology Physician for an assignment!

Job details:

• Setting: Hospital
• FTE: (2-3)
• Cover hospital call, consults, rounds 7 days on Monday through Sunday (existing team takes first call, fellow/APP
• Duties: Rounding on inpatients, answering phone calls related to call, come in for any urgent needs at night
• Required Procedures: Per usual of Interventional Cardiologist (Left Heart Caths, etc.)
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: Fellow and APP (NP's and PA's)
• Reason for Coverage: Increased hospital call
• Schedule/Availability Requirements:
  6/1/25 - ongoing 6+ month assignment
  • • M-F Round on hospital patients at St. Joseph's and cover consults (this is helping our existing team)
    • Sat & Sun Weekend call (rounding on any inpatients, assist with any new calls/consults with existing team which includes fellows and APP's)
  
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Board Certified/Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• AZ license or IMLC - REQUIRED
• ACLS - REQUIRED
• DEA - REQUIRED
• Malpractice – Clean Preferred
• Availability at time of name clear - REQUIRED
