Locum General Cardiology | Virginia | Flexible scheduling

Details:

• Location: western Virginia
• Duration: June – December (option to extend)
• Schedule: Flexible – 2-4 weeks/month
• Shift: Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p
• Call: rotating weekend 24-hour call (optional)
• Scope: General Cardiology Non-Invasive – duties include Clinic, In-patient Rounding, and reading Echo/Nuclear studies
• Volume: Reads 30-35/day, clinic 18-22 PPD, rounding 15-20 PPD
• Schedule would not include all three, but could be split between two with reduced volumes reduced by 50%; example rounding am 7-10 PPD, and clinic in pm 9-11 PPD
• EMR: Meditech Inpatient and Athena Clinic
• Hospitals: Level 2 trauma, 255 beds, Heart & Vascular Specialty Center
• Group/support: 3 APP’s, 3-4 MD/DO, including 2 Interventional Cardiologists
• Credentialing; 90
• Require: Board Certified: Cardiology, Nuclear, and Echo. VA License preferred but willing to license
