Advanced Heart Failure Opening in North Carolina Located in Greenville, NC - Raleigh 80m Seeking a BC/BE Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join an established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support program located in Greenville, North Carolina. Greenville, NC is located 80 miles east of Raleigh, NC and 80 miles northwest of beautiful Atlantic Beach, NC. * The Clinical sections represented in The Department of Cardiovascular Sciences include Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology and Arrhythmias, Heart Failure, Primary and Secondary Prevention and Vascular Diseases. * Established advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory support team inclusive of advanced heart failure cardiologists, a heart failure surgeon, heart failure pharmacist, heart failure social worker, six heart failure advanced practice providers, and heart failure certified nurses * Growing heart failure program that includes a destination LVAD center, cardiogenic shock program with dedicated ECMO team and CICU critical care service, established CardioMEMS center, pulmonary hypertension program with dedicated pulmonary hypertension clinic and inpatient management, and active heart failure clinical trials and registries * Invasive procedures will include heart catheterization and CardioMEMS * 29-county referral network that includes 1.5 million residents * In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends. Qualifications * Applicants should be advanced heart failure fellowship trained * ABIM certified in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology. The six-story, 375,000-square-foot tower houses 4 electrophysiology labs, 6 catheterization labs, state of the art imaging and diagnostic equipment, 6 cardiovascular operating rooms, and 1 hybrid operating room. It features 120 beds for patients undergoing procedures for cardiac medicine, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery.
