Daily Responsibilities for a Bilingual Cardiologist
  • See new patient consultations and follow-up visits in office
  • Supervise stress testing
  • Read and interpret stress tests, MUGA, nuclear stress tests, echo, peripheral vascular ultrasounds, pacemaker reports
  • Loop recorder reports, mobile cardiac telemetry reports; round in multiple hospitals for new patient consultation, follow-up visits, ED consultations, perform testing in-house, read tests as part of reading panels
  • Provide coverage for other physicians in the practice.

Hours For This Position

  • Clinical Practice Office Hours, Monday - Friday 9AM - 4:30PM
  • Call and Rounds at 3 Hospitals
    • Weeknight call is every other week with 1st call always taken by a PA. Weekend call is every third weekend.

Requirements for the Bilingual Cardiologist

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • MD or DO
  • Successful completion of accredited Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases; if Eligible but not Certified, will need to certify within 12 months from hire
