We are seeking two board-certified or board-eligible cardiologists to provide locum tenens coverage. This role includes clinical hours, call coverage, and opportunities to collaborate with a robust team of advanced practice providers (APPs) and peers. Ideal candidates will have strong general cardiology skills with experience in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

- Perform hospital rounds for general cardiology patients.
- Provide diagnostic and therapeutic care in a 29-bed cardiology department.
- Collaborate with and supervise advanced practice providers (APPs) as needed.

Outpatient Responsibilities:
- Conduct general cardiology clinic visits for new and follow-up patients.
- Interpret nuclear cardiology studies (preferred but not required).

Call Duties:
- Provide beeper call coverage with a 20-minute response time.
- Manage phone consultations and inpatient emergencies.
Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
MD or DO degree.
Board Certification in Cardiology (required).
Nuclear cardiology certification preferred for interpreting studies.
Licensure:
Active medical license in Montana or eligibility under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
ACLS certification required.
Experience:
Proficiency in general cardiology with expertise in echocardiography and inpatient/outpatient care.
Fellowship training in cardiology preferred but not required.
Working Hours
On-Call: 24-hour coverage with alternating shifts (7:00 AM–5:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 AM).
Skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Supervision and mentoring of advanced practice providers.
Nuclear cardiology interpretation (preferred).
