Shift Details:
  • Type: Weekend Night Call (In-house)
  • Hours:
  • Friday: 5 pm (or as late as 8 pm based on commute) to 7 am Saturday
  • Saturday: 6 pm to 7 am Sunday
  • Sunday: 6 pm to 7 am Monday
  • Shift Coverage: Friday to Sunday evening shifts.
Skill Requirements:
  • Cardiac ICU Admissions and Management: Must be comfortable with critical cardiology cases, including:
  • STEMI (ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
  • Unstable VT (Ventricular Tachycardia) and VF (Ventricular Fibrillation)
  • Cardiogenic Shock
Coverage Type: Weekend In-House Night Call
Charting System: Cerner
Minimum Board Certification: Certified
License Requirement: North Carolina License
Support Staff: Physicians will have an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) supporting the shift at all times
