Facility in Minneapolis, MN seeking Cardiology locums coverage

Rates: $375/hr

This facility is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its team, supporting inpatient, outpatient, and call services. This role addresses the growth of clinical services and provider departures.

Key Details

  • Start Date:
    As soon as credentialed (90–120 days).

  • Schedule:

    • Call Schedule: Q7

    • Full scope of inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Inpatient Consults: 5–10 per day (hospitalists handle admissions).

    • Clinic Patients: 12–14 per day.

    • Supervising APPs during rounding, stress tests, and cardiac rehab as needed.

Procedures Required

  • Echocardiography

  • Transesophageal Echocardiography

  • Electrical Cardioversions

  • Electrocardiograms (EKGs)

  • Treadmill Stress Tests

  • Chemical Stress Tests

Requirements

  • Board Certified/Eligible through ABMS – Required.

  • Active Minnesota License – Preferred (IMLC accepted).

  • ACLS Certification – Required.

  • DEA License – Required.

  • Local candidates – Highly Preferred.

Support

  • Support staff includes APPs assisting with rounding and other tasks.
