Facility in Cumberland, MD seeking Cardiology locums coverage

Rate: $325/hr, Pager Fee $400/night, $375/hr hourly callback

Job Details:

• Coverage Type: Hospital coverage only (no clinic).

• Schedule:

  • Hospital Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

  • Call Hours: 3:30 PM - 8:00 PM.

  • Coverage Dates:

    • January 2025: 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/9, 1/10.

    • March 2025: 3/10, 3/11, 3/12, 3/13, 3/14.

• Reason for Coverage: Coverage during provider vacation.

• Responsibilities:

  • Perform TEEs and cardioversions.

  • Conduct new patient consults with APP support (NP/PA).

  • Occasionally read EKGs or TTE studies.

Procedures Required:

• Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE).

• Cardioversions.

• EKG/TTE interpretation.

Credentialing Requirements:

• Estimated Timeframe: 60 days.

• Certifications Required:

  • ACLS.

  • BLS.

• Licensing:

  • Active Maryland license required.

  • IMLC candidates considered but credentialing starts after MD license is obtained.

Facility Details:

• Trauma Level: III.

• EMR System: Epic.

• Census: Dependent on hospital’s cardiac service volume.

• On-Site APP Support: Yes.
